Hythe to Romney Marsh Wildlife Safari

Tuesday 10th July 2018

Light Railway Marsh Wildlife Safari – for the early birds, a train hauled by the RH&DRs oldest and smallest locomotive that only operates out on the main line just a few times a year.

Leaving Hythe at 8.00 the train will head off for a steady run over the Marsh before arriving just before 10.00 at New Romney station for a hearty breakfast. Stops on the way will be made to look out for our native wildlife. On board will be one of our friends from the Romney Marsh Visitor Centre who have expert knowledge of our local wildlife and where to look out for unusual sightings (nothing is guaranteed of course where wildlife is concerned). Our own railway historians will also be on board to point out places of railway interest too.

All Day Romney Rover ticket is included in the price.     Adults £24.00 and Children 10 or over £12.00

Please book on our website or 01797 362353
